Join our Deep Tech Launch Pad

Have you a bold idea that could change the world and ignite real-world impact? If so, the Deep Tech Launch Pad programme can support you to do that.

DT Launch Pad is a free, EU-funded programme designed to empower researchers and start-ups across Europe to explore the commercial potential of their scientific discoveries. Led by TU Delft and supported by a consortium of institutions from seven EU countries, Deep Tech Launch Pad connects science-based innovators with the tools, guidance, and networks they need to succeed.

Running from September 2025 to June 2026, the programme offers a dynamic and hands-on learning experience tailored to the unique needs of deep-tech ventures. Applications are open now however, spots are limited, and the deadline to apply is July 31st, 2025.

Who’s it for?

This opportunity is open to a broad community of science-driven minds: PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, academic teams, and early-stage startups working on deep-tech solutions. Whether you’re exploring how your work might serve a real-world need or you’ve already taken the first steps toward a venture, DT Launch Pad provides two tailored tracks that match your stage of development.

The DeepSpark track is ideal for those at the discovery stage, helping researchers understand how their scientific insights can be translated into marketable innovations. You’ll explore the market, value proposition design, and the early steps of venture thinking.

For those further along, the DeepTech Catalyst track supports development and scaling, guiding participants through refining business models, testing prototypes, identifying customers, and becoming investment-ready.

What will you experience?

The programme begins with an eight-week online training series from October to November 2025. Participants commit to about two hours a week and are encouraged to take part in peer learning sessions and mentoring. It’s a focused, flexible experience designed to fit busy schedules while delivering practical, real-world insight.

Beyond structured learning, participants receive expert mentoring and personalised support, access to a wide European network of researchers, investors, and innovation hubs, and targeted guidance on business development, legal frameworks, and funding strategies.

By the end of the training phase, teams will pitch in a national competition. Selected participants then move into the second stage: an intensive incubation and support programme from January 2026. This phase includes opportunities to connect with industry leaders and funders, culminating in a high-profile Fundraising Fair where the top ventures will pitch to over 100 European investors and innovation players.

Deep tech is reshaping our world—from AI and biotech to quantum computing and sustainable energy solutions. For researchers and entrepreneurs, this is a rare chance to shift from academic impact to societal change, and to step confidently into the deep tech ecosystem with zero cost and no equity taken.

If you’re ready to take the next step and explore how your research can solve real problems, don’t miss this opportunity. Apply now at DT LaunchPad Programme – DTLaunchPad before July 31st, 2025.
