DT Launch Pad was proudly represented at the 2025 Hello Tomorrow Global Summit in Paris, by our lead partner, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). Project coordinator Elif Celik, Dr. Ufuk Gür, and Sarah Alonso Vega joined a global gathering of innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs for one of the most influential global deep-tech events in the world.
Since its founding in 2011, Hello Tomorrow has become a hub for science-based innovation, creating the world’s largest deep-tech ecosystem. With a mission to accelerate the journey from lab breakthroughs to real-world impact, the Global Summit brings together over 3,000 attendees, 100 speakers across four dynamic stages, and 125 exhibitors. The high-energy convergence of startups, corporations, academics, and investors is united by a shared vision to shape a sustainable and human-centred future through technology.
The summit presented a unique opportunity for DT Launch Pad to showcase our work and values to an international audience. By joining this thriving ecosystem, we connected with deep tech pioneers, investors, and thought leaders aligned with our mission: turning cutting-edge research into real-world ventures and supporting early-stage deep tech startups as they scale.
Project coordinator Elif Celik shared her experience from the event:
“This year’s Hello Tomorrow Summit was an absolute power-packed experience—carefully planned, packed with high-value meetings, and an incredible space where collaboration was the norm. The energy was inspiring, with everyone working towards a shared goal: shaping tomorrow with cutting-edge tech capable of tackling society’s biggest challenges.”
At DT Launch Pad, our mission is to bridge the gap between scientific research and market-ready innovation. We aim to help researchers spin out technologies into impactful ventures, and we support early-stage startups in navigating the challenges of the deep tech landscape.
“The discussions at the summit strongly reinforced the importance of building this bridge,” Elif said. “From investment advisors and service providers to mentors and knowledge-sharing sessions, every encounter inspired fresh ideas to expand our DT Launch Pad community and strengthen the pan-European ecosystem we’re building.”
Elif also highlighted key conversations with fellow innovators and ecosystem builders like Riam Kanso, Anna Norelius, Pavel Kalinin, Leonard Moonen, Alina Mendt, Edgar Ke, Hanaé Taxis, Linn Kretzschmar, Vladimir Bataev, Gabriel Samlali, Lorenzo Chiavarini, and Pascal van Baren. She also had the opportunity to reconnect with Timur Topalgoekceli and meet new allies like Mehmet Örgen and Aykut YELALDI from the Hello Tomorrow Türkiye team. Their commitment to deepening the global impact of the Hello Tomorrow Türkiye Summit (on May 23rd) was particularly exciting—and we hope to join them there!
One of the summit’s most popular booths was the Discover Dutch Deep Tech space which was no surprise. Dutch innovation drew huge interest as the Netherlands is fast becoming a true deep-tech hub, and DT Launch Pad looks forward to contributing even more to this transformation. Excitingly, Amsterdam was announced as the host city for the next Hello Tomorrow Global Summit in 2026—perfect timing as DT Launch Pad will also be entering the final phase of our pilot that year. We’re thrilled that the Netherlands will take centre stage, and we plan to see you there with our booth!
